Tapas bar hopping in La Latina

Do you really like to eat some cheap delicious tapas and experience the vibrant life in Madrid at the same time? Then La Latina is the place in Madrid to have a crawl. There are many tapas bars in Madrid, but La Latina is specifically known for its many cheap tapas bars. The principle of a tapas bar is that you order a drink and receive a free small tapas dish. The following tapas bars are recommended to visit when going on a tapas crawl in La Latina.

Cervecería San Millán

This tapas bar is mainly known by the locals for its cheap delicious dishes, and it is therefore always very crowded. With every drink you order, you usually get some olives or potato chips. And if you want anything else, you can also order separate tapas dishes to share with your friends, like patatas bravas. The tapas bar is easily accessible as it is next to La Latina metro station.

Calle de Toledo 61, 28005, Madrid

100 Montaditos

If you come from Cerveceria de San Millan, you just cross the road, and you are at 100 Montaditos. This is the place to get cheap small sandwiches and a large glass of beer or tinto de Verano. Especially on Wednesdays and Sundays, almost everything from the menu is quite cheap as all the sandwiches are all one euro. This place is well known among students and a very pleasant meeting point for internationals. Here, everybody is always in for a drink!

Calle de Toledo 59, 28012, Madrid

El Viajero

This is a good place to end your crawl as the bar consists of three floors. There is a fancy rooftop where you will see the breathtaking sunset. This place is always completely full-on Sunday as it is a good spot to see the sunset and meet new people. The tapas are also cheap, and you should order their special tapa which is the patatas con salsa mojo. And if you want an alcoholic drink with your food, then go for the tinto de Verano.

Plaza de la Cebada 11, 28005, Madrid

In addition, there are plenty of other tapa’s bars in every street of La Latina for example Taberna la Concha, Juana la Loca, Casa Lucas and much more.
