Los Jardines de La Granja de San Ildefonso, situados en la localidad del mismo nombre, cerca de Segovia, son uno de los conjuntos paisajísticos más impresionantes de España. Estos jardines fueron diseñados en el siglo XVIII por orden del rey Felipe V, quien buscaba recrear un espacio similar al de los jardines de Versalles, en Francia.

Uno de los aspectos más destacados de estos jardines es su sistema de fuentes, alimentadas por gravedad desde los manantiales de la sierra de Guadarrama. Las 26 fuentes principales, cada una decorada con escenas mitológicas o alegóricas, son un espectáculo impresionante cuando están en funcionamiento. Entre ellas, destacan la Fuente de Neptuno, la Fuente de Apolo, y la espectacular Fuente de los Baños de Diana.

Los jardines también cuentan con una gran diversidad de árboles y plantas, entre los que se encuentran especies autóctonas y exóticas. Además, los amplios senderos y avenidas están diseñados para ofrecer vistas panorámicas y perspectivas únicas del palacio y del entorno natural.

The gardens of La Granja de San Ildefonso, located in the town of the same name, near Segovia, are one of the most impressive landscaped gardens in Spain. These gardens were designed in the 18th century by order of King Philip V, who sought to recreate a space similar to the gardens of Versailles in France.

One of the highlights of these gardens is their system of fountains, gravity-fed from springs in the Guadarrama mountain range. The 26 main fountains, each decorated with mythological or allegorical scenes, are an impressive sight when in operation. Among them are the Fountain of Neptune, the Fountain of Apollo, and the spectacular Fountain of the Baths of Diana.
