Madrid’s nightlife

Madrid Nightlife

Spaniards really know how to party, why deny it? It’s the truth! Madrid is known as one of the best party destinations in Europe with its variety of clubs and bars.

The club Teatro Kapital or Kapital (C/Atocha 125, Metro:Atocha) is one of Madrid’s biggest clubs. Be ready to climb some stairs and have fun in this seven-floor venue. From House music, to R&B, Funk to Reggaeton, Kapital is a must-go place since there’s a floor for everyone containing different styles of music.

In the Salamanca neighborhood, I had a great time at Le Boutique Club (C/Serrano 45,Metro: Serrano, Rubén Darío or Nuñez de Balboa). This club, as one can guess from its name, is inspired by designer boutiques. The stylish and sophisticated decor contributes to Le Boutique’s luxurious atmosphere. Inside, you can find free standing mannequins, which turns the place into the most fashionable club. Also, if you want to experience free salsa lessons and have access to a free open bar without entrance fee, you are at the right place! Just stop by the Any Given Monday’s party at Le Boutique Club every Monday. You will have a great time dancing salsa and meeting new, international people.

Just close to the park El Retiro, you will find the Gabana Club (C/ de Velázquez 6, Metro : Retiro), one of the finest clubs in Madrid. Gabana is also part of The World’s Finest Clubs network. If you like champagne, you will be satisfied. The place is cool and chic. There is an international party every Wednesday with free entrance and free open bar from 0:00 to 1:30. Note that the dress code is smart casual.

If you’re not that into clubs, it’s okay! Madrid also has plenty of options of bars, from vintage to cozy and modern venues as well. I recommend the multicultural neighborhood, Lavapiés. There are a lot of ethnic and bohemian bars. Also, in the neighborhood of Chueca, you will find lots of gay-friendly bars. Likewise, if you want to have a drink in a lively and unique atmosphere, take a walk to La Latina neighborhood. Lastly, in Las Letras neighborhood, you can visit numerous tapas bars in Plaza Santa Ana.

In Madrid, the night is young and so are we! Remember, “Madrid never sleeps”!
