¡Ve a conocer los secretos de El Guernica de Picasso en el Museo Reina Sofía con Be Intenational Students!

Be International Students, en su programa “Be Art” te propone una visita guiada en inglés y castellano, en el Museo Nacional Reina Sofía, para conocer en profundidad obra de el maestro Pablo Picasso, centrándonos en “El Guernica”, de la mano de nuestra guía de estudiantes.

“El Guernica” está considerada como uno de los mayores alegatos artísticos contra la barbarie y la guerra. Es una obra cargada de secretos y curiosidades que se ha convertido la expresión crítica artística mas importante a la Guerra Civil española y una de las obras mas emblemáticas, admiradas y visitadas del arte español del siglo XX.

Una obra de espectaculares dimensiones (349,3 x 776,6 cm) realizada por encargo para el pabellón republicano de París en la Exposición Internacional de París de 1937 que posteriormente viajó a Gran Bretaña y a EEUU – donde estuvo expuesta en el MoMA – hasta su llegada a España tras la dictadura franquista en 1981.

Discover the secrets of “El Guernica” of Picasso at the Reina Sofia Museum with Be International Students!

The “Be Art” program of Be International Students, offers you a guided tour in English and Spanish. To get to know in depth the work of the master Pablo Picasso, focusing on “El Guernica”, at the Reina Sofia National Museum with the help of our student guide.

Guernica is considered one of the greatest artistic pleas against barbarism and war. It is a work full of secrets and curiosities that has become one of the most important artistic critical expressions of the Spanish Civil War and one of the most emblematic, admired, and visited works of 20th-century Spanish art.

A work of spectacular dimensions (349.3 x 776.6 cm) commissioned for the Republican pavilion in Paris at the 1937 Paris International Exposition, it subsequently traveled to Great Britain and the USA – where it was exhibited at the MoMA – until its arrival in Spain after Franco’s dictatorship in 1981.

Our visit to the work and the sketches and photographic documents about its creation will help you discover the great secrets of this work. Do you know how much the artist charged for this work?
